It was a somewhat uneventful weekend. My parents arrived on Friday night but were very tired. It had been a long day for them, so we didn't do much when we got back to the house. We spent Saturday chin wagging and we did a little shopping (for things that were forgotten in Calgary), and then had dinner out at one of the best restaurants in the area, Teddy's. They have a turkey dinner on the menu that is almost as good as mom's!

Yesterday my dad and I spent most of the day picking up some tools to install the sink in the kitchen (I hate stainless steel sinks), and then most of the evening installing it. It's done and looks awesome! I'll post pictures when I have them.

Today I am at work and they are travelling the countryside, visiting relatives and friends. Hopefully I can put my dad to work again tonight and install the bathroom light fixtures. I don't think he expected to have so many little things to do when he came...um, why do you think I invited you? *LOL* Okay, just kidding...

I have taken Thursday and Friday off, and we will be off to visit relative in Ottawa. That should be fun.
